Dr. Lai Thahn-Le was born to Drs. Thuy and Lily Thahn-Le in 1973 on July 22nd, followed by her brother Hoa and her sister Trihn. Dr. Thuy Thahn-Le and his wife Dr. Lily Thahn-Le moved from Vietnam and established themselves as prominent members of the medical community when Thuy completed the first successful heart transplant in the area, and Lily assisted in a high-risk birth of septuplets. Lai was raised in an upperclass neighborhood, given the very best schooling, and graduated with honors as the class historian in high school before moving on to become a social worker after graduating valedictorian from a prestigious university with a master's degree in hand.
Dr. Thahn-Le, 32, has been described as having a slightly cold, unemotional nature upon first meeting, but she is very business savvy and reserved when it comes to personal dealings. She admittedly enjoys intellectual stimulation, Italian food, orchids, and snacks with a salty or bitter taste.
Lai worked for several years at a government-regulated facility, but recently left her job in hopes that she could help more people -- the stiff regulations and assembly-line style work made her feel inadequate and regimented. She has come to Cherry Hollow to assist Dr. Naomi Graves in any way that she can as well as offer hope and guidance to the patients residing.
(Lai Flower Thahn-Le is a character in a roleplaying game and has absolutely no significance in reality.)
